Taylor Vest Coleman has received extensive training through the Texas SandTray Association (TSTA). Taylor has been practicing sandtray therapy since 2018 and works with children, teens, and young adults, utilizing this therapeutic approach to support their mental health and emotional well-being.

Karen Burke is a Licensed Professional Counselor working in private practice in Austin, Texas. In addition to being a clinical supervisor, she is a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and an Advanced Level Certified Clinical Sandtray Therapist & Trainer. She is a cofounder of Texas SandTray Association (TSTA) and currently serves as the Founding Advisor of TSTA.
Karen’s passion for sandtray therapy and the integrity for this modality is far reaching. She has utilized sandtray therapy for almost 25 years and has provided sandtray training to more than a thousand students, interns, and practitioners along the way. She is excited to connect with others who are also passionate about the powerful modality of sandtray therapy. This presentation will explore the importance of exploring one’s own cultural elements in order to invite our clients to feel safe expressing theirs.
