HOW TO BECOME A CERTIFIED SANDTRAY THERAPIST IN TEXAS
Texas SandTray Association (TSTA) has been the governing body for clinical sandtray therapy since 2017. Up until July 2026, it was the certifying organization for clinical sandtray therapy in the state of Texas. As other states asked to be included, it was decided that certification needed to expand to cover a broader area than just one state. Global Council for Clinical Sandtray Therapy (GCCST) was launched in July 2026 to certify clinical sandtray therapists on an international level.
As we transition certification, the TSTA trainers will remain in place, and the training they provide will continue to meet the requirements for GCCST certification.
If you have questions or would like to explore the details of becoming certified in Clinical Sandtray Therapy™, please visit the GCCST website.
