Brave New World: Making Custom Miniatures for Sandtray Therapy for Play Therapy

Presented by Wanda Montemayor, LPC-S-AT, ATR-BC ATCS, RPT-S

Description: Miniatures invite viewers to take a step back and see the world from a different perspective, allowing the viewer to use their imagination while also internalizing the different possibilities in front of them. This workshop will provide step-by-step instructions on how to create personal miniature habitats with clients to be used in sandtray play therapy. Participants will be guided through the exploration of materials needed to create personal habitats in both group and individual play therapy settings. Participants will be given tools to process miniature making in a way that is playful and appropriate for all ages in play therapy.
